Happy New Year!

Happy New Year folks!

This is Peter B in the Owl Farm Kitchen, getting ready for New Years sipping on champagne with Anita and company.  Currently we’re watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin reporting from Times Square on CNN, pondering a) what the official term for this decade is (the UK calls it the "noughties", but I have not heard many Americans use that term) b) if we should hop on a quick flight to a certain town instead our planned festivities tonight and  c)since Hunter always said that the end of the American Century was December 1999, where are we now?

Ah, the deep quandaries that come up at Owl Farm!
